One of the things I value most about being a part of this team is that Dan encourages honesty regarding my journey of faith. And, you may have figured out by now that I don’t have the strongest footing.
That’s me. Sometimes standing, but most of the time stumbling.
I don’t have the energy to hide this from myself any longer. And, thankfully, my pastor-husband isn’t put off by it either. I’m able to be honest, albeit quiet, about my faith.
And I appreciate the permission to do the same here, both from Dan and from you.
The piece of art you see above sits in the home of a dear friend who gives me equal permission. She sees the fight for faith in me and she cheers me on. She gives me a safe place to express my frustrations and fears. So I sent this painting to her as a gift—a thank you for her friendship and support.
I want to do the same here. I want to offer this to you if you want it. Just click this link and you can download a copy of the painting from flickr—yours to print or use as iPhone wallpaper or whatever. May it give you the hope you need in your dark night. Because it came straight out of mine.
And while we’re here, I’d love to hear about your journey of faith. What is Faith to you?
I love this picture.
And would love to obtain the original to hang on my wall.
But the download will work too. 🙂
As my computer background.
Thank you for blessing me today.
