These are some images from Google maps of Port-au-Prince, Haiti after the 1/12/2010 earthquake. In them you will see the extent of some of the devastation, and a little glimpse of what life is like in Haiti right now. A scan of the city reveals small tent-citys all over town.

This is why I am going to Haiti…

    Still praying for these communities. What an incredible display of photos, our hearts cry out for them during this difficult time.

      i remember seeing the updated google map satellite images of port-au-prince for the first time after they were updated after the earthquakes. my jaw was literally dropped… i was in awe. 

      i also continue to pray, and am excited to be going back (for my second time) in February.
