Brooke Fraser has one of those voices that just melts your heart. She is certainly anointed for worship as she pours out her heart in song. This video from her Albertine CD is a great one…

    Hello Mr.Bible Dude!
I thought I would point something out for discussion. On the cover-picture of this artist’s music, she shows her bra strap (I assume that is what that is). I have a hard time believing that in a professional picture and cover that this was just an oversight. I believe that this is labeled or marketed as a worship-music genre. Is the producer (and/or singer) trying to market sex appeal with the music? If so (it appears that way) that is a sad thing. Does the Christian Music business need to have sex appeal to sell their music? When does worship of God become so connected with sex appeal? Just some thoughts…

    Mark,
Thanks for stopping by! I did not even notice the alleged “bra strap”… But you make some great points about it! I think that even my overlooking something like that only shows how numb that we get to stuff like that.

I cannot answer whether they are intentionally trying to market the product with sex appeal or not, but I do know that the heart of the music seems to be very genuine. Many of or best modern worship songs these days come out of Hillsong, which is where Fraser is from.

    Thanks for pointing that out!
