As mentioned in my post titled “Relate: Connecting With Others, Part One“, I discussed how important it is for us all to have a deeper revelation of how horrible a place Hell really is. I have read Baxter’s book on this topic, and I hear that Wiese’s book is excellent. Both of these are great resources for further study on this topic.

divine-revelation-of-hell A Divine Revelation of Hell
By Mary K. Baxter / Whitaker House Publishers           Baxter says she had a series of visions in 1976 in which Jesus appeared to her, removed her spirit from her body, and took her to view condemned souls in hell. This controversial bestseller records those visions—raising disturbing questions about the afterlife and reminding you of the very real need for God’s salvation! 216 pages, softcover from Whitaker.

23-minutes-in-hell 23 Minutes in Hell: One Man’s Story About What He Saw, Heard, and Felt in That Place of Torment
By Bill Wiese / Charisma House           What does an eternity in torment look like, and how can it be avoided? God allowed Wiese to spend time in the devil’s lair, and now he shares what he saw, heard, and felt. Along with hundreds of Scriptures referencing hell’s horrors, Wiese shares his insights to commonly asked questions such as “Is hell a literal burning place?”, “Where is hell?”, “Do you have a body in hell?” and “Can ‘good’ people go to hell?”
