I was in our church’s couples small group on Wednesday night, and our DVD lesson talked about Christians that act one way differently when they know that they’ll be accountable for their actions. The example shared was about a man who bragged about his partying, talked about the ‘hot’ women, and swore like a sailor… until he realized that he was talking to a pastor.

His whole attitude changed, and he immediately switched to how active he was in his church back home.

We often talk about having accountability partners, but how about behaving as if Jesus were standing right behind us? All the time…
