justiceAt the end of August (28th-29th) people from around the country will be gathering in Washington D.C. and online for the next meeting of The Idea Camp. The focus of this (un)conference will be Compassion and Justice.

During the month of July, people shared their creative writing here at bibledude.net on the topic of compassion. In this series people shared some amazing poetry, short stories, and more!

Now for the month August bibledude.net will be taking creative submissions on the topic of justice! Submissions will be taken here for any form of creative writing that you would like to share…

  • Short story
  • Poetry
  • Playwriting/Dramatic writing
  • Memoir
  • Creative non-fiction
  • Flash fiction
  • Photo journaling

Use any of the listed forms of creative writing (or photo journaling) to share what you want to on this topic, and email your submissions to dan@bibledude.net. Submissions on the topic of justice will be accepted through the end of August, and will be posted right here on bibledude.net. Please include a short (2-3 sentence) bio that includes links to your website/blog (if you have one) and other social networking profiles (Twitter, etc.), along with a photo of yourself.

One lucky submission will be selected to receive a FREE copy of Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers: Prayer for Ordinary Radicals by Shane Claiborne and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove. The winner will be selected on a mysterious combination of quality of content, feedback (via comments) submitted by readers, and maybe some other factors that I have not determined yet. But regardless, you cannot win the book if you don’t submit something!

Let me know if you have any questions… otherwise, I look forward to seeing what God puts on your heart!

It would be an advantage if you can able to attend in that event. Seeing their works and ideas are good for you because you will surely be guided and get some ideas on how to write different writings perfectly.
