We’ve recently talked about interpreting the Bible in community, and now we’re talking about praying in community. There seems to be something about doing things with other people that increases it’s impact.
Can we pray and talk to God by ourselves? Absolutely!
Have you prayed with a group of friends when one of them looks at you and says something like, “I’m not sure where this came from, but I wanted to let you know…”?
Hearing the audible voice of encouragement can be an uplifting experience matched by few other things in the Christian experience.

Community is SO important! Having like-minded people around you changes the whole dynamic of your walk…I think in giant ways, of course, but also in subtle ways you may not even see or realize. A group seeking His face because they’re hungry for God causes more momentum than just an individual doing it…………in my opinion.
oooohhh… #momentum… i like that word! especially how it’s used here…
The thing about Margaret … Her passion makes me hungry for God — sparkling eyes and words ablaze for the Lord as she speaks. And that we would be ignited in such a way that it changes communities around us. Yeah, I want me some of that.
